Take me there! One of my favourite buildings in Hamburg is the Elbphilharmonie (Elbe Philharmonic Hall), popularly nicknamed Elphi. It is a concert hall in the Hafen City quarter of Hamburg, Germany. Located on the Grasbrook peninsula of the Elbe River, it is among the largest in the world. The new glassy construction resembles a hoisted sail, water wave, iceberg or quartz crystal resting on top of an old brick warehouse and is the tallest inhabited building in the city height of 108 metres (354 ft). The Plaza located on the 8th floor offers spectacular panoramic views over the city.
The Port of Hamburg is a seaport on the river Elbe in Hamburg, Germany. Whilst being central to the city it is 110 kilometres from its mouth on the North Sea. Known as Germany's "Gateway to the World", it is the country's largest seaport by volume. In terms of throughput, Hamburg is the third-busiest port in Europe and 15th-largest worldwide.

Westerland is a seaside resort located on the western shore of the German North Sea island of Sylt. Around 180km northwest of Hamburg the island is one of the most northern towns in Germany. Whilst the origins of the town lie in hunting and fishing, the economy nowadays is heavily orientated towards tourism with recent years having around 2.5 million people staying overnight. The major attraction to Westerland is the 6km promenade.
The Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex (German Zeche Zollverein) is a large former industrial site in the city of Essen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It has been inscribed into the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites since December 14, 2001, and is one of the anchor points of the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
The first coal mine on the premises was founded in 1847, and mining activities took place from 1851 until December 23, 1986. For decades, starting in the late 1950s, the two parts of the site, Zollverein Coal Mine and Zollverein Coking Plant (erected 1957−1961, closed on June 30, 1993), ranked among the largest of their kinds in Europe. Shaft 12, built in the New Objectivity style, was opened in 1932 and is considered an architectural and technical masterpiece, earning it a reputation as the "most beautiful coal mine in the world"
