A visit to a cafe in the Moutanabbi area of Baghdad. The cafe is locally renowned having served tea to royalty, dignitaries, and the famous over the decades. A simple place where people come to drink tea, meet friends, and reflect on photographs adorning the walls and of the times gone by.
A car bomb exploded and killed 26 people on Mutanabbi Street on March 5, 2007. The cafe owner lost 4 sons and a grandson that day; their photos on the wall a reminder of those departed.
