On Location - Frogner Park & The Vigeland Sculptures, Oslo, Norway

Frogner Park is home to a series of 212 sculptures created by Gustav Vigeland over the course of a couple of decades circa 1930's - 40's. The works are primarily in Granite and Bronze; the center piece being a huge monolith depicting the 'circle of life'. Surrounding the monolith are a number of granite sculptures depicting the stages of life through to death. A lovely location to explore and reflect on humanity and our path through life.
